“The Nest” is a warm, welcoming space designed for meaningful contact between children and their families.
It’s a good-sized, homely room with comfy seating, colourful artwork, and shelves filled with toys, books, and games. There are also arts and crafts materials to help children and parents bond through creative play. A table and chairs provide space for shared activities like drawing, puzzles, or snack time.
For supervised contact, families have exclusive use of the room, giving privacy and focus during important moments. For supported contact, the space may be shared with other families, with staff on hand for guidance and support as needed.
Whether you're staying with us or visiting from another service, The Nest is a space for reconnection, calm, child-friendly, and centred on relationships.
