Can I bring my child’s toys, buggy, or comfort items?

Yes. We want your child to feel at home. Familiar items help create a sense of safety and comfort.
How long will I stay? ▼
Most residents will stay with us between three and six months, depending on your progress and care plan. This is regularly reviewed with the child social worker and/or your social worker.
Are staff watching me all day?

No. Staff are always available to support you but you are given privacy and respect. This is your home while you are here.
Will you write reports about me?

Yes. We keep daily records and produce a final summary. You are included in conversations about your progress and can ask questions at any time.
Can both parents live here together?

Yes, if this is agreed with the placing Local Authority and is in line with your care plan.
What happens if there is a safeguarding concern?

We respond quickly and work closely with professionals. If concerns arise, we discuss the safest next step for you and your child.
